COCOBOD ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF 2023/2024 MAIN CROP SEASON

On May 31, 2024, the Ghana Cocoa Board announced the official closure of purchases for the 2023/24 Main Crop Cocoa Season, effective Thursday, 6th June 2024. In order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to obtain the final returns from up-country centres, the Ghana Cocoa Board has decided that returns on the declared purchases will be accepted up to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, 13th June 2024. All stakeholders are to take note of the above arrangements and strictly comply. This directive marks the official closure of Ghana’s main crop season and allows LBCs to finalize and reconcile their purchase records in preparation for the upcoming light crop season.
