COCOBOD ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF THE 2023/2024 LIGHT CROP SEASON

On September 13, 2024, the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) announced the official closure of purchases for the 2024 Light Crop Cocoa Season, effective Tuesday, 10th September 2024. The notice, issued by COCOBOD’s Public Affairs Department, directs all Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to complete their purchase operations and reconcile their records before the deadline. To facilitate a smooth conclusion, COCOBOD has extended the submission period for final returns from up-country centres until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, 19th September 2024.
